Triathlon Race Info

The Kids Triathlon started out as a fundraiser for Habitat for Humanity of Greater Pittsburgh but has become so much more than that over the past eleven years. While it remains Habitat’s major fundraising effort to raise money to build houses for people in need of affordable, decent housing, it also gives kids a fun and energy-burning activity in the summertime!

   North Park

Register for North Park on Race Day!
Race fee $30 per athlete

Athletes arrival = 7 a.m.
-  Last minute registrations will be accepted at the Pool on Race Day. (Race bags and t-shirt sizes cannot be guaranteed for race day registration)
-  Cash, check and credit card accepted for the $30 registration fee.

Ages 7 + 8 + 9

  • The Swim 50 meters
  • The Bike 1.5 miles
  • The Run 0.5 mile

Ages 10 + 11 + 12

  • The Swim 100 meters

  • The Run 1 mile

Ages 13 + 14 + 15

  • The Swim 400 meters
  • The Bike 7 miles
  • The Run 2 miles

Race rules and overview meeting:

· For both parents and children

· Friday, August 5th at 6:30 p.m. at the North Park Swimming Pool

· There are changes to the 10,11, 12 race course for 2011!

· While all are encouraged to attend, it is particularly important that any athlete competing in the Youth Race (13-15 yrs old) for the first time attend this meeting. There are significant differences between this race and the younger kids' races.
